It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas - and will soon be even more at the Proctor Area Community Center with this year’s Christmas Coloring Contest.

Children ages up to 11 are invited to participate by coloring the entry, which is shown on page 13 of this edition.

The Proctor Journal will choose a winner from each age category, which are 5 and under, 6 to 8 and 9 to 11.

All those who enter will receive a gift. All entries will be displayed at the Proctor Area Community Center through the end of the month. The winner in each age group will receive a gift certificate from Proctor Black Woods and LTC Prescription Providers. Proctor Federal Credit Union will start an account with a $5.00 deposit for the winner in each group. Winners will be announced in the December 20 edition of the Proctor Journal.

The deadline to enter is 12 noon on Sat., Dec. 15.

Each entry must include the child’s full name, age and telephone number.

Entries should be delivered to the Proctor Journal, 215 Fifth St., Proctor, MN 55810 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Offices are closed on Sunday.
