Benefit for Jo Tisdell
The PowerHouse Bar is hosting a cancer benefit for retired bartender Jo Tisdell. Jo worked for 20 years, first for the Municipal and then in its many incarnations as the Landmark, Kennedy’s and finally, the PowerHouse. In that time, she has touched many lives and made many friends.
The benefit will be held Saturday, October 4, beginning at 1:00 p.m. A buffet dinner will be available for a $10 donation. Children 5 and under are $5. Music will be provided by Brian Lee during dinner and continue with Shadow Stone playing into the evening. There will also be a bake sale and silent auction with many prizes.
