A Proctor High School senior was recognized for her volunteerism during the annual Port Cities Luncheon held recently at the Radisson Hotel.

Raeya Benson was honored for her outstanding volunteer efforts in both the school and the community. Eight seniors from other high schools were also cited, each selected by his or her respective school. They were guests of the Port Cities Committee.

The event was held in conjunction with the naming of the 2009 Port Cities Woman of the Year.
