The Proctor Lions Club hopes community members will support the Hoghead Festival and the Lions by purchasing Hoghead buttons.

The Lions will draw ten lucky Hoghead button numbers from the 2000 buttons they hope to sell again this year. Each winning button holder will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks, which can be spent at many Proctor area businesses.

This year’s drawing will be held on Hoghead Saturday, August 15 at 3 p.m. Winners will be posted in the Caboose, the next issue of the Proctor Journal and on its website. Winning buttons can be presented at the Caboose until 5:30 Hoghead Saturday or at the Journal office during business hours through Friday, August 28.

Buttons can be purchased for $2 each at the Proctor Journal, Credit Union, Proctor Video/Laundry, First National Bank, Coffee Den, Proctor Pizza, Proctor Pharmacy, Keyboard Lounge, Milk House, Railway Pizza, PowerHouse, Chasers, Tailgate Bar, Moose, Wok ‘n Grill, Pit Stop Bar, Troy’s Amoco, Proctor Builders Supply, Golf Course, City Hall, Museum, Mobil Mart and Mountain Spirits.
