Two Proctor Rails on Thunder rosters
There will be two Proctor Rails participating on Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder Athletics teams.
Cole Lipinski and Kevin Schubert have indicated they will play for the Thunder beginning with the 2009-2010 season.
Lipinski is one of 12 recruits who will join Men’s Basketball.
Kevin Schubert will be part of 53 recruits joining the returning players in August.
Other area students include: Sabrina Matusak, AlBrook, womens basketball; Shay Dahl, AlBrook, mens basketball; and Kayla Deadrick, Esko, volleyball.
“We are very happy that we have plenty of local talent. It’s nice to see that Thunder football, and Thunder athletics in general, are being accepted by these local student-athletes as great opportunities to play college athletics,” stated Head Coach Tony DeLeon.
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College competes at the NJCAA Division III level and is a member of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
