C. Talbot "Woman of Year" nominee
Char Talbot, who has long been associated with Proctor, is a Port Cities "Woman of the Year” nominee.
Talbot is a PHS graduate who retired from the First National Bank of Proctor and is an active member of the Proctor Chamber of Commerce where she serves as its vice president. She joins 10 other women who have also been nominated.
The 2008 "Woman of the Year," which honors women doing an outstanding job of volunteering in their community, will be announced at the Port Cities luncheon Wed., May 14 at the Radisson Hotel in Duluth.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Lynn Ross, Superior's First Lady. She will use the theme "Becoming a R.E.A.L. Woman of Purpose"
Tickets for the luncheon are $15.
