Bradburn accepted at UMD

Proctor Journal

This week’s First National Bank of Proctor Academic All-Star is Zach Bradburn.

Zach is already signed up and accepted to attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

His major area of study will be Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Engineering.

Zach’s favorite class this school year is World History instructed by Nate Johnson.

“I find all of what he teaches very interesting and nothing in this class is ever very boring or left unexplained,” he remarks.

World History teacher Nate Johnson states, “Zach is a strong student. As a student in World History, Zach always had strong opinions and backed those opinions. His work was always done on time and often completed early. With his strong work ethic, Zach is going to do well wherever he goes.”

His long-term goal is to be rich and happy with lots of toys.

Zach has been involved in hockey until this year.

His special interests are fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.

Zach couldn’t pick any certain most memorable moment as student at PHS.

“Just hanging out with my friends all through school,” he remarks.

Parents Mike and Traci Bradburn of Saginaw say, “Zach has made our job as parents an easy one. He has set standards for himself from an early age and has learned hard work pays off. His attitude on life will take him wherever he wants to go in his future and we are very proud of him.”
