Solway gets $46K grant
Solway Township was one of three communities to receive federal grants awarded last week.
Solway will use its $46,550 grant for training and equipment purchases.
The funding comes from the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. “This program invests in our local first responders; these are the people keeping our nation safe,” said Congressman Jim Oberstar.
