Ida A. Slosson, Services were held yesterday, Wed. for Ida A. Slosson, of Proctor, who died Sun., Aug. 25, 2002 in a Duluth Hospice. She was 81.

She was born in New York, New York on June 13, 1921 to Henry and Providence (Grana) Clavell.

Ida was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Proctor, and was the Past President of the St. Rose P.T.A. and Past President of Proctor American Legion Auxiliary #106, a former Girl Scout Leader, and Treasurer of Proctor Golden Age Club. Ida worked at the Proctor Journal

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas in 1992; and sisters, Rachel and ?Cookie?.

Survivors include her son, Douglas M. (Linda) of Proctor; daughters, Alice (Richard) Ridgewell and Susan Slosson all of Duluth; brother, Henry Clavell of Monroe, New York; sister, Alice Clavell of Eustes, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to St. Rose Catholic Church, and St. Mary?s Hospice.

Burial was in Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Bell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Ashley Nicole Edberg, Ashley Nicole Edberg, who was to start her junior year at Proctor High School, died Fri., Aug. 23, 2002 as a result of an automobile accident. She was 16.

Ashley was born May 26, 1986, in Duluth to Mark and Chris (Sylvester) Edberg. She attended Munger Grade School, Jedlicka Junior High and was about to start her junior year at Proctor High School. At Proctor, Ashley was on the varsity soccer team and had played in the High School band. She worked at the McDonald?s at Spirit Mountain. Ashley loved to snowboard, camp, shop, go to movies, play soccer and spend time with her friends, family, grandparents and especially her brother Philip and sister Kindra. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandmother Suzanne Edberg, and her grandfather Philip Sylvester.

She is survived by her mother Chris (Brent) Paulson of Solway Twp., her father Mark (Stacy) Edberg of Milwaukee, Wis., brother and sister Philip and Kindra, both at home, grandparents Fay and Bill Rogers of Duluth, Ralph Edberg of Ariz., Robert and Billie Edwards of Bemidji and Dean and Susan Paulson of Moose Lake, great-grandparents Pat and Phyllis Ferrazzi of Ariz., Dick and Barbara Edwards of Fla. and Dagmar Kuitunen of Bemidji, her boyfriend Brandon Cherrington, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to Proctor Varsity Girls Soccer Class of 2004 or a trust fund to her brother and sister, in loving memory of Ashley, c/o 3972 Canosia Road, Cloquet, MN 55720.

Arthur ?Art? C. Bodell, Joseph Bodell of Proctor is saddened by the loss of his brother, Arthur ?Art? C. Bodell. He died Thurs., Aug. 22, 2002 in a Duluth hospital. He was 83.

Art was born in Duluth. He was an Army veteran of WW II, serving in Europe. Art had worked as a crane operator for US. Steel.

He was preceded in death by a son Allan. Art is also survived by five sisters, four other brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Burial was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls.

Patrick T. Ozzello, Candace C. (Robert) Ozzello-Galovich of Proctor is mourning the death of her father, Patrick T. Ozzello. He died Thurs., Aug. 22, 2002 in Duluth. He was 55.

He was born in Wakefield, Mich. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and had attended Lake Superior College and Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. He had worked for Diamond Tool for 27 years, Cirrus Design, and currently for the City of Duluth Water & Gas Department in the Building Maintenance Department for the last three years. In 1982, he married Paulette Wertanen in Duluth.

Pat is also survived by his wife Paulette, another daughter, a sister, four brothers, five grandchildren, an aunt, and many nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Bell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Donald D. Abrahamson, Art Abrahamson of Canosia Rd. is saddened by the death of his brother Donald D. Abrahamson. He died Fri., Aug. 23, 2002 in his Duluth residence. He was 72.

He was born in Duluth Aug. 12, 1930. He had attended Denfeld High School and was an Army Veteran. Don had worked at Superwood as a Press Operator.

He is also survived by three sons, two sisters, two grandsons, and his ex-wife Theresa of Duluth.

Inurnment was in Sunrise Cemetery.

Myrtle M. Schwarzkopf, Judy Armbrust of Saginaw is saddened by the loss of her sister, Myrtle M. Schwarzkopf. She died in a Duluth hospital Sun., Aug. 25, 2002. She was 88.

She was born in Lake Wilson, Minn. She retired from Duluth Laundry after 23 years.

Myrtle is also survived by two sons, three other sisters, 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

Inurnment was in Oneota Cemetery.
